ADA's Evidence Based Practice Committee
The EBP Committee has oversight over the work and process of developing evidence based guides and guidelines. This committee reports jointly to the ADA Board of Directors and the ADA House of Delegates.

ADA's Evidence Analysis Teams
Evidence Analysis Teams are listed in the Contributors section according to the location of the project on the EAL: Diseases & Conditions, Nutrition Care Process, Foods, or Nutrients. Each evidence analysis team is composed of the following categories:

Expert Work Groups
The ADA Evidence Based Practice Committee appoints (6-8) members to the Expert Work Groups who are recognized as leaders in the particular practice area. Click here to view the responsibilities of work group members.

Evidence Analysts
Evidence Analysis is directed and carried out by ADA members! Evidence Analysts are selected by ADA staff based on their qualifications and availability and are trained by the ADA in our rigorous process. Evidenced Based Toolkit Contributors
Evidenced Based Toolkits are a set companion documents which are disease or condition specific and detail how the RD or RD/DTR team applies the Evidenced Based Nutrition Practice Guidelines in practice. Click here to view the names of the toolkit contributors.

Networks
The purpose of the peer Network is to enhance member's usage and understanding of evidence-based practice and ADA's evidence-based resources. Its objective is to help implement the Evidence-Based Nutrition Practice Guidelines and toolkits through a train-the-trainer system, by using the Nutrition Care Process/Standardized Language.
